The basic law is a treaty signed between the Chinese and British Goverment in  19 December 1984.
The principle of " One Country, Two systems."
HKSR has a high degree of autonomy and enjoys executive, legislative and indipendent judical power, including that of the final adjudication. Executive authorities and legislature of HKSR shall be composed of pemanent residents of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong's previous capitalist system and life-style shall remain unchanged for 50 years. What would happen after 50 years?  The basic law would be abolished of course! And the HK people would have rights like the major things you cant do in Hong Kong.

The Central People's Government shall be responsible for the foreign affairs relating to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China shall establish an office in Hong Kong to deal with foreign affairs.

This is a fun game!
